This course consists of two (4) hour sessions of behind-the-wheel training. It is designed for students that have completed the classroom but not the behind-the-wheel portion of the 14-hour or the 38-hour course with a certified driving school. Any person wanting to take the 8-hour behind-the-wheel course must furnish an original copy of the student's 6 or 30-hour classroom certificate. No student can enroll and schedule the sessions without having this certificate. The minimum age requirement for a behind-the-wheel course is 15 years of age.
- Domiciliary parent / legal guardian driver's license WITH a copy of court-approved documents- The student's state-issued Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) card (This card WAS obtained at the Office of Motor Vehicles prior to attending a driver's education course for any course taken on or after 9/4/2018.)- Certificate of Successful Completion as proof of completing the classroom portion of the 38-hour driver's education course The student must have his or her Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) card that was issued by the Office of Motor Vehicles for each behind-the-wheel session. If a student arrives or is picked up for the behind-the-wheel driving sessions and does not have the Temporary Instructional Permit (TIP) card on hand, the behind-the-wheel driving session will be canceled and the student/parent will be charged a $75.00 cancellation fee to cover the instructor's cost. This fee will be required before the next scheduled session can begin.

$325.00 if the payment is Cash / Check / Card / PayPal (checks are to be made payable to Road Scholars Driving)*Payments made with a credit/debit card in person or over the phone are subject to a 3.5% service fee per transaction. The fees listed above will include one original and one copy of the Certification of Completion upon completing the course with a passing score of 70% or higher.
If a student misses or cancels a scheduled driving session without reasonable notice (24-hour prior notice) a cash fee of $75.00 will be charged to cover the instructor's cost. Certificates will be held until all fees are paid. No certificate will be awarded until the course requirements are met.
Completion of any course at Road Scholars: Institute of Driving - Driving School, Driving Academy does not guarantee that a driver’s license will be issued to a student nor will this course count for any school or court credit. Students may qualify for a discount on auto insurance premiums; contact your agent for details. All payments, prices, specifications, options, and information are subject to change without notice.
If there is a remaining balance, it is to be paid in person at the start of the first day of class. Balance payments can be made using a debit/credit card, cash, check, or money order. All checks or money orders are to be made payable to Road Scholars Driving. Payments made with a credit/debit card in person or over the phone are subject to a 3.5% service fee per transaction.
